'The Hunting' becomes SBS's most successful home-grown drama

From New Zealand to Russia, viewers overseas will soon be watching original Australian SBS drama 'The Hunting'. If you haven't yet seen it, here's your chance locally.

Fresh from breaking ratings records on SBS for an Australian drama, The Hunting is set to reach viewers in six more countries—and you can still .

Starring Asher Keddie (Offspring, The Cry) and Richard Roxburgh (Rake, Hacksaw Ridge), The Hunting intimately and dramatically imagines the lives of four teenagers, their teachers and families throughout the lead-up, revelation and aftermath of a nude teen photo scandal.

The Hunting reached 1.7 million viewers on SBS TV in August. It has since clocked up 4.2 million video chapter views at SBS On Demand. provided alongside the show to help inform young people about online safety have so far been downloaded more than 8500 times.

The series has captured the attention of broadcasters internationally, with rights sold to Channel 5 in the UK, Sky New Zealand, RTE Ireland, CBC in Canada, IVI in Russia and NPO in the Netherlands.
