Thank you for entering the 2017 Alliance Francaise French Film Festival competition. The competition is now closed and winners have been notified.

From March 7, the 28th edition of the Festival will travel around Australia bringing the best in contemporary French blockbuster and independent films to seven cities: Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Brisbane, Perth and Hobart.

This year's festival opens with , Jérôme Salle’s dazzling biopic that will sweep you up in its sails as it follows the chaotic life of celebrity oceanographer Jacques Cousteau. There’s something for everyone with a dazzling array of comedy, girl power, centre stage, on-the-road films and more. The festival closes with writer-director Nadège Loiseau’s uproarious and emotive debut feature about a reluctant 49-year-old mother-to-be, .
