An Indian-origin woman was found dead in her home in Melbourne's south-east on Tuesday.

A software engineer from Kerala, Monisha Arun lived with her husband, Arun Nair in Clayton, Melbourne.

According to , the deceased identified as Monisha Arun, hails from Kerala, India and is daughter of late Cherukattu Mohankumar of Veliyann and S. Suseela Devi.

The IT professional hailed from Koprakalam, which is a village near Ponkunnam in Kerala.

The news report said the dead body was discovered by her husband Arun after he returned from work on Tuesday.

The duo had recently married and while Monisha was a software engineer, her husband Arun reportedly works as a nurse.
