Champa Princess: Celebration of a brave love and multiculturalism

PERWIRA (Association of Indonesian in Victoria) present the Princess of Champa in Melbourne on July 20, 2024. Showcasing the story of Indonesian past history and celebrating diversity. Where the players are not only Indonesian but also those from Vietnamese, Turkish and Indian backgrounds.


SBS Indonesian managed to interview the two main players of Princess Champa play, Evin Virya who plays Putri Champa and Yohanes Haryo Prasetyo who plays Bhre Kertabumi or Raja Brawijaya V.
They explained the historical significance of Princess Champa and why they are interested in this story.
