INTERLUDE: A complicated story of the relationship between a child and a mother from a diaspora family

A short movie called "Interlude" had shortlisted for Best Fiction at ReelOzInd! 2024.

Dilail Abimanyu spoke with the director, Nadia Syarifah. She also an International Student at Victorian College of Arts, Melbourne. She created this movie on 2023 for her assignment.

She said that for almost a year she had registered for various short film competitions. However, only at ReelOzInd! this year that the film Interlude entered the shortlist.

Despite the theme at ReelOzInd! 2024 was "diversity", Nadia still registered the film "INTERLUDE".

Nadia said that the diaspora is a group that contributes to the diversity of a society.
