The federal government has launched a new free vaccine program.


The free vaccine program is expected to protect pregnant women and babies from the potentially deadly respiratory syncytial virus, or R-S-V.

Health Minister Mark Butler said the program could reduce hospitalizations for the disease by up to 90 percent.
