US intelligence community: Iran was planning an assassination attempt on Trump

In recent weeks, US authorities have received intelligence information from a source that indicates that Iran was plotting to assassinate Donald Trump. It is still unknown whether the assassination attempt on the former President of the United States is related to Tehran.
