Karpahavalli Carnatic Music Organisation (‘KV’) was founded in 2007, as an independent organisation that focuses solely on the beautiful art of Carnatic music. Based in Sydney, run by students for students of Carnatic music in Australia. This is the fifth year, KV has organised Vaggeya Vaibhavam, a forum to celebrate Carnatic music composers and their compositions. T R Sundaresan is one of the three artists who have come from Tamil Nadu, India to participate. It was T R Sundaresan’s father who encouraged him to become a professional musician. Now, T R Sundaresan helps students across the globe to become talented musicians with the use of technology. T R Sundaresan talks to Kulasegaram Sanchayan all about it.
