In what some are calling a gesture of true feminism, Beyoncé has used Halloween as an opportunity to support one of her personal idols, legendary performer Toni Braxton.

Braxton, who has reportedly , had just announced that tickets were available for her upcoming tour when Beyoncé decided to pay the iconic vocalist homage, celebrating the star in front of her social media following of over 119 million.
Alongside the series of images, which beautifully recreated the cover for Braxton's first official single "Another Sad Love Song", released in 1993, the superstar singer wrote: “Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends."

She continued: "Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always."

Beyoncé then wished her massive fan-base a happy Halloween: "Have a Happy Halloween my Kings and Queens.”
Braxton, who recently announced a new tour, was quick to give her stamp of approval on Beyoncé's Halloween tribute.

"Phoni Braxton!? NEVER!!!" The star tweeted.

"How do you look better than me on MY album cover? I LOVE IT, Such a superstar! Thanks for the love sis! Happy Halloween."

Naturally, she concluded with a lyrical nod to the queen of pop herself: "Who run the world...GIRLS! GIRLS!"
