Speculation around the first season of Drag Race UK is heating up, with BBC 3 announcing this week that Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams - known by many as Arya Stark - will be appearing as a guest judge.

The series will feature RuPaul and Michelle Visage as judging panel fixtures, with popular UK TV hosts Alan Carr and Graham Norton sitting in on alternating weeks.
"What I love most about drag is the story of the drag queen behind the facade," Williams said in a statement.

She added: "I think that so much of drag comes form a place of real pain and seeing how that transforms into a character is so interesting to me. I love that about art and about drag."

Other celebrity guest judges rumoured to be involved include Andrew Garfield, Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Geri Horner and TV hostJames Corden.

“Oh my goodness, when they see this show, they are going to flip,” Ru said on a What’s the Tee?. “And I predict we will be doing this English edition of Drag Race for many years to come.”
