The internet is going nuts for Cher singing ‘Waterloo’ live

Look, nobody ever doubted that pop icon Cher has bucket-loads of talent.

But that didn't stop the singer from proving it once more, treating US audiences to a live rendition of ABBA's 'Waterloo' on America's Got Talent (AGT) last night.

Rocking a figure-hugging purple jumpsuit and blonde wig, the Oscar and Grammy winner earned herself a standing ovation with the rare televised performance, which was broadcast live as part of AGT's grand final.

The Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again actress used the opportunity to promote her new , which sees the star revisit her favourite ABBA tracks.
The talent show extravaganza also included performances from Billy Ray Cyrus, Macklemore, Leona Lewis and Kygo.

Cher , wowing fans and critics alike with her live set at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras after party. She'll return down under with her Here We Go Again tour later this month.

The superstar's first album of ABBA covers, Dancing Queen, last year made it to No. 1 on the US Billboard charts, making it the her equal-highest-charting solo album ever.
